Pittsburgh police are seeking a woman who is alleged to have to have stabbed and carjacked a man who gave her and another man a ride early Friday.
Police alleged in a criminal complaint that the victim, David Legrande, gave Marin Oreski, 38, of Washington County, and her male companion a ride from a Downtown bus stop to the Oakland area.
Legrande told police that he gave Oreski, who he has known for two years, $50 after dropping the pair off on Deraud Street. After she got out of the car, Oreski stabbed him several times with a screwdriver, police said.
Police said the pair forced Legrande into the trunk of his car, but he was able to escape after finding the emergency release latch.
Legrande flagged down police shortly before 2 a.m. Paramedics found several puncture wounds on his legs consistent with being stabbed with a screwdriver, police said.
Oreski is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of aggravated assault and attempted kidnapping. Police continue to search for her and the unidentified man as of Monday evening.
