Police looking for South Side graffiti vandal who has been painting oblong chickens

A graffiti vandal that has been leaving images of oblong chickens at a South Side bar and other places is being sought by police.

Police said the vandal entered Rugger’s Pub just after midnight on Dec. 1 and entered the bathroom after ordering a drink. A short time later he was seen leaving the bar, police said.

Bar workers told police they could smell a strong odor coming from the bathroom.  Inside the bathroom, workers observed freshly painted chickens on the wall and a mirror, police said.

According to police the same man has left similar graffiti tags throughout the South Side.

The suspect is described as a 21-year-old man with long brown hair.
