A McKees Rocks man and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the Jan. 3 shooting in Mckees Rocks that has left a man in a local hospital in critical condition.
Allegheny County police announced that William Davis Sr, 35, has been charged with one count each of receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number, carrying a firearm without a license, and obstruction. In addition, two juveniles are also facing charges in connection with the incident.
The shooting occurred around 11:32 a.m. in the 700 block of Bouquet Street. Witnesses told police they saw a red SUV flee the area at the time of the shooting. Around the same time, an individual arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to police. The three arrived at the hospital in a red Dodge Durango SUV.
Detectives from the Allegheny County Police responded to the scene and were able to recover some ballistic evidence in the area.
Police say the red SUV was probably involved in the shooting.
Davis is currently in the Allegheny County Jail after being unable to post a $100,000 bond and is facing a Jan. 15 preliminary hearing.
