Beaver Falls police arrested a man Wednesday after finding a large amount of drugs along with several firearms and cash while searching his home.
Shortly after 10 a.m. Beaver Falls police along with state drug agents and other area police officers served a search warrant at the home of 37-year-old Jonathan Powell on Fourth Avenue.
Authorities found 8 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of marijuana, 26 grams of crack cocaine, $2,000 in cash, three firearms, and several digital scales, according to a criminal complaint.
Because Powell is a convicted felon, he is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.
Powell is charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver, three counts of possessing a prohibited firearm and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
He is currently in the Beaver County Jail after failing to post $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 31.
