The man driving one of the vehicles involved in Saturday’s fatal accident on the McKees Rocks Bridge has been identified as Rasaun Tyrec Cotton, 19, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Cotton was driving a Buick LeSabre with a woman passenger in the front seat and crossed over the center double yellow line striking a Chevrolet Colorado, according to the Allegheny County Police.

The 57-year-old female driver of the Colorado was transported to an area hospital where she was listed in stable condition as of Saturday.

The female passenger in Cotton’s vehicle was taken to a local trauma center where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

Cotton was also taken to a trauma center, but died shortly after arriving. Police said that Cotton’s excessive speed contributed to the accident, although police continue to investigate.
