Two teenage females are facing robbery and assault charges after police say they robbed a woman using a stun gun.
Court records say Delaysha Pryor, 17, and Delaya Knuckles, 18, both of Pittsburgh, approached a woman Tuesday night as she was leaving UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and robbed her.
The victim, whose name was not released, told police she saw both women who “were playing with a stun gun” as she was leaving the hospital.
As the victim attempted to walk pass them she said one of the women lunged towards her with the stun gun in her hand. The victim then gave both women her purse and other belongings.
The victim then ran into a nearby business and called police.
Based on the description provided by the victim, police were able to locate Pryor and Knuckles nearby. At the time of their arrest Pryor had the victim’s ID and Knuckles had the stun gun in her pants.
Both women are facing charges of robbery, simple assault, conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person.
They have been released after posting a bond and are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 16.
