A 19-year-old woman is in the Allegheny County Jail facing homicide charges after she turned herself into police late Tuesday.
Unique Lane of Sheridan is currently awaiting arraignment on charges of criminal homicide, conspiracy, robbery, and weapons violations, according to court records.
Allegheny County Police alleged in a criminal complaint that Lane is one of the persons involved in the Feb. 16, 2017 shooting death of 30-year-old Andre Lee in McKees Rocks.
Lee was shot while sitting in a car in the 500 block of Ella St. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from those wounds, police said.
Lee was driving a car and had a male passenger when he stopped and let Lane in the car. After she entered she displayed a handgun and an altercation occurred. Several gunshots were fired and Lane along with two unidentified males were seen fleeing the area, according to police.
According to online court records Lane is also facing robbery and carrying a firearm without a license charges in an unrelated incident that occurred on Feb. 16.
