The driver who led police on a brief pursuit Sunday that resulted in a multi-vehicle crash has been charged with two felonies and 19 other charges.
Darrell Gordon, 34, of Export, faces multiple counts of rerecklessly endangering another person, reckless and careless driving, resisting arrest, DUI, and drug possession, according to online court records.
The pursuit started when Gordon allegedly fled from police Sunday afternoon on Old William Penn Highway in Murrysville and ended a short time later when Gordon crashed his car at the intersection of School Road and Old William Penn Highway. He was taken into custody by Murrysville Police.
An emergency dispatcher said the intersection was closed for about an hour and no injuries were reported.
Gordon is currently in the Allegheny County Jail after being unable to post a $25,000 bail, and faces an Oct. 15 preliminary hearing.
