Two children woke up early Sunday morning and found their parents dead in what authorities believe is a murder-suicide.
Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a home at 117 Marlboro Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m. after local police found the couple deceased minutes earlier.
According to a state trooper the deceased couple are Kelly Ann Bryan, 44, and Craig Alan Bryan, 48. Police say they believe the couple may have been involved in some type of argument, but thus far have refused to disclose any further information or the possible cause of death.
Shortly before 8 a.m. Washington County Coroner Tim Warco officially pronounced the couple dead and also refused to disclose how the man and woman died, or even whether or not a firearm was used.
Online court records provide little insight as to what may have occurred. In 2011 Craig Bryan was charged with simple assault and released after posting a bond. The charges were later dismissed.
The couple’s two children, a 17-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, are now being cared for by family members, according to police.
