Six people and 3 cars shot during paintball shooting spree

Pittsburgh Police are looking for several males who are responsible for a Tuesday morning shooting spree that resulted in six people and three cars being shot with paintballs.

According to a police spokeswoman the incidents occurred between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. at various locations in Pittsburgh. The incidents started at 7:10 a.m., when a 17-year-old female was struck in the face with a paintball at the intersection of East Warrington Avenue and Beltzhoover Avenue.

Two minutes later, three vehicles in the 200 block of Cedarhurst Street were damaged by paintballs.  At 7:45 a.m. a 60-year-old female was shot with a paintball at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Lemington Avenue as she was walking to a bus stop. By 8 a.m. three females—one 13 years old—were hit with paintballs in the same area.

The last reported incident occurred at approximately 8:16 a.m. when a male reported to police he was hit in the arm with a paintball in the 2700 block of Spring Garden Avenue.

All the victims stated a paintball gun was fired from a blue-colored car, although the descriptions of the car varied. The vehicle was occupied by several males at the times the incidents occurred.
