The ex-boyfriend of “Teen Mom 2″ star Jenelle Evans was sentenced to 18-36 months in prison followed by three years probation, after pleading guilty on Wednesday to operating a meth lab.

Kieffer Delp, 28, of Mckees Rocks, was arrested Jan. 10 after police acting on a tip, raided his basement apartment and found an active meth lab.

“We had been getting complaints that there was a meth lab at this location, and we conducted an investigation and determined that there was in fact one,” said Mckees Rocks police chief Rick Deliman.

McKees Rocks detective David Finerty wrote in a criminal complaint that when police entered the apartment to serve a search warrant they, “were immediately struck by the overwhelming odor of chemicals. These chemicals continuously irritated our senses while inside the residence.”

Police found Delp in the rear bedroom and immediately arrested him. Numerous items Delp was using to make the drug were found in the apartment including, ammonia nitrate, empty Pseudoephedrine packages, cooking pots and batteries.

Emergency crews as well as a specially trained state police clandestine lab team worked for over three hours safely dismantling the lab.

Delp pleaded guilty to operating a methamphetamine lab, possession with intent to deliver and risking a catastrophe. His remaining charges were dismissed.
